Party Slideshow

Party Slideshow shows the photos and videos that guests choose on one Apple TV. This policy explains what the apps do with your information. The short version: we do not collect your data.

What we collect

Nothing. The apps have no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party software that collects data. We operate no server that receives your photos, videos, names or locations.

What the apps do on your device and your network

• Photos and videos. When you choose photos or videos on your iPhone, the app reads them from your photo library. They are sent only to the Apple TV that you joined, over your local Wi-Fi or network, when the TV needs to show them. The TV keeps a temporary cache that you can clear in its Settings, and the system may remove it at any time.
• Your name. The name you enter (or your device name) is sent to the TV so it can show who shared each photo.
• Location. If a photo has a location and location sharing is on, the app sends the coordinates and a place name (for example “Kreuzberg, Berlin”) to the TV. Place names are looked up with Apple’s location service, which is operated by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. You can turn location sharing off in the app.
• Camera. Used only to scan the QR code on the TV. No images are stored.
• Local network. Used to find and talk to your Apple TV. Nothing is sent over the internet to us.

Sharing

Photos, videos, names and locations are visible to the people looking at the TV and, as the sender, to the TV owner. We do not sell, share or transfer your information to anyone.

Retention and control

You can take any of your items off the TV at any time. Closing the TV app or clearing its cache removes what it held. Because we hold no data, we have nothing to delete on our side.

Children

The apps do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
